First Dissemination Event of the ProCAncer-I Project in Vienna

An absolute pleasure to be part of the European Congress of Radiology in Vienna! The ProCAncer-I project team presented the special challenges of the project at a special session. Really good to connect with everyone again face to face! 

The 1st ProCAncer- I Dissemination Event, presenting the vision of the project, took place in Vienna on the 15th of July 2022 as a special session during the ECR 2022. At the presentation and discussion panel participated  members both of the ProCAncer -I project and the FUTURE – AI initiative: Manolis Tsiknakis, Nickolas Papanikolaou, Daniele Regge, Luis Marti-Bonmati, Hariet C. Thoeny, Mustafa Nasuh Özmen, Emanuele Neri, Kostas Marias and Ioannis Seimenis.

The session with the title “Building bridges. From radiomics /AI research to clinical practice: The ProCAncer – I vision” was an opportunity for the researchers to engage with different stakeholders as well as the general public since the attendees of the ECR came from all areas of the radiology arena: radiology professionals, radiographers, physicists, medical imaging in general and industry representatives.
