ProCAncer-I at the ECR 2024 in Vienna

We are really happy to announce that we will be present at the ECR Congress in Vienna from February 28 to March 3,2024. During the congress,. ProCAncer-I project, along with CHAIMELEON, EuCanImage, INCISIVE and EUCAIM will hold a presentation on “Artificial intelligence (AI) for health imaging: pioneering cancer image repositories for diagnosis and analysis” on the 29th of February at 08:00 – 09:00 CET, ACV – Room M1

Also, the final outcomes of the PI-CAI challenge will be presented at the Session RPS 605 (on the 28th February, 16:30-17:30 CET), at the Guerbet AI Symposium (on the 1st March, 12:30-13:30 CET), and at the poster presentations gallery (28 February till 2 March)

Our Technical manager, Prof. Kostas Marias will give a lecture entitled “Assessing the trustworthiness of saliency maps as a tool to increase clinical explainability of AI radiology models” during the SF 15b – Validity of explainable AI and model trustworthiness session on March 1, 2024 at 14:00-15:30 CET, presenting the oututs of the ProCAncer-I project.

During the ECR, we will be awarded with the “Most Downloaded Paper Certificate” for our paper entitled “Data infrastructures for AI in medical imaging: a report on the experiences of five EU projects” published in European Radiology Experimental .
